About Danny

The Friends of Danny G. Campbell is a 501(c)(3), Massachusetts registered charity established in the memory of Daniel G. Campbell. Danny passed away tragically in May 2018 from a brain aneurysm, approximately one month shy of his 2nd birthday. The Friends of Danny was established to honor Danny’s memory and celebrate his legacy.

Danny was a busy, active, funny, and loving little boy who enjoyed spending time playing with his cousins, tiny classmates, and grandparents, reading with his mom, watching Red Sox games with his dad, and eating every munchkin donut in sight. Danny brought joy and laughter to everyone he interacted with. He was taken from us far too early, and through this organization, we promise to keep Danny’s spirit alive.

Charitable Goals

Danny impacted many lives during his time on this earth, and he will continue to do so moving forward. It is the mission of the Friends of Danny G. Campbell to ensure that Danny’s name carries on by aiding children and adolescents in the Greater Boston Area that have the greatest social need.

With the funds raised from the annual Danny Cup and future events, we will partner with other local charitable organizations with the goal of investing in childhood development for underserved youth.
